US raises CRC imports in Jul m-o-m

According to preliminary data from the US Census Bureau under the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported around 101,000 tons of cold-rolled coils (CRC) in July, a 13% increase from the previous month and a 28% drop compared to the same month a year earlier.

Among them, Canada led with about 21,400 tons, a month-on-month fall of 10.6% and a year-on-year decrease of 55.4%. Sweden ranked second with about 10,100 tons.

The total import value for these products was around US$97 million, up by 11.2% month on month and down by 40% year on year.
