Hoa Phat Group, a steel producer in Vietnam, announced on September 20, 2025, that it officially reached the milestone of 15 million tons of hot-rolled coil (HRC). This achievement was reached just five years after the first HRC was produced in May 2020.

Among the production, the Dung Quat 1 complex contributed more than 13.5 million tons, with the Dung Quat 2 complex producing nearly 1.5 million tons.

The full completion of the Dung Quat 2 project by September 2025, which includes the operation of blast furnaces No. 1 and No. 2, will significantly increase output.

From 2026, Hoa Phat’s total annual steel production capacity will reach 16 million tons, including 9 million tons of HRC, enabling the company to fully meet both domestic and international market needs.
