Both supply and demand of steel sheets decline in Taiwan's market

As the third quarter is ending, the steel sheet market in Taiwan optimistically awaits the coming of the fourth quarter, which is normally the traditional peak season for steel purchase in the whole year.

While quite a few insiders in the industry complain about the weak market demand at the moment, the fact is that the supply is also low, which seems to keep a delicate balance between the supply and the demand.

Since the cost of production increases due to exchange rate fluctuation, the steel sheet prices are currently stable. On the other hand, imported sheets are hard to close deals due to the same reason.
