Mexico reviews validity of AD duties on cold-rolled stainless steel products from China, Taiwan

According to Mexico's Official Gazette, the Ministry of Economy has initiated a review of the anti-dumping duties (AD) against cold-rolled stainless steel products from China and Taiwan.

In October 2020, the Ministry of Economy published the final resolution of the AD investigation of this case and imposed definitive duties on these products from both countries, ranging from US$0.05 to 0.63 per kilogram, depending on the country and the company.

According to the resolution of 2020, the definitive duties will be eliminated within five years of their entry into force, unless the Ministry of Economy has initiated a validity review before the end of that period, resulting from the expression of interest of one or more domestic producers.
