Egypt has extended its anti-dumping (AD) investigation into cold-rolled, galvanized, and coated steel sheets from China and Turkey by six months, with the probe now expected to conclude in the first quarter of 2026.

The investigation was launched on October 31, 2024, based on complaints from domestic companies.

The Egyptian authority said it had gathered input from all parties and conducted inspections and audits at production facilities in China and Turkey. The extension allows for further evaluation of additional evidence and documents submitted by stakeholders.
