Jindal (India) Limited has commenced commercial supplies of pre-painted and galvanized steel to major Indian white goods manufacturers, including LG, Godrej, and Whirlpool. This move propels the company into a high-value market segment driven by India’s rapidly expanding home appliance market.

The company's strategic expansion, supported by new color-coated manufacturing capacity, aims to meet international standards for durability and surface finish.

Jindal (India) said the initiative is in line with the "Make in India" drive and is expected to increase the firm's revenue by 20% in the current fiscal year, further raising the contribution of premium coated steel to its total sales. Besides, the share of premium coated steels is also predicted to reach nearly 75% of the total sales by the fiscal year 2026, up from the current 70%.
