On October 28, Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. (TISCO) shipped its first batch of green stainless steel products to Europe, successfully entering the high-end European market. This move shows the company's commitment to green manufacturing and provides a model for the industry's global participation in green competition.

The exported 304L stainless steel medium plate is made using an electric arc furnace, international-leading 4,300mm rolling technology, and building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) solar power throughout the process, achieving a carbon footprint reduction of more than 75% compared to traditional methods. Its emissions data meets advanced European standards under the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).

TISCO's successful entry, driven by technological innovation and systematic management, turns green transformation into a key market advantage, overcoming the assumed barriers for high-carbon industries. The company plans to continuously expand its green product capacity.
