According to statistics from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), in the week ending on November 1, 2025, the production of US’ raw steel totaled 1.74 million net tons, slightly decreasing by 0.4% from the same period a week ago but rising by 9.2% compared to the same period a year earlier. The capacity utilization rate was 76.0%, down by 0.3 percentage points week on week and up by 4.3 percentage points year on year.

As of the week ending on November 1, 2025, the adjusted year-to-date production of US’ raw steel has amounted to 75.47 million net tons, rising by 3.0% compared to the prior-year level. The capacity utilization rate was 77.0%, up by 1.2 percentage points year on year.
