Nucor Corporation, the biggest steel maker in the US, is raising prices again. This is the third week in a row that Nucor has increased the price of hot-rolled coil (HRC) steel, which is the key benchmark for North American steel pricing.

Nucor's Consumer Spot Price (CSP) for HRC steel is now US$895/ton. At the company's California Steel Industries joint venture, the price is at US$950 per ton.

Over the last three weeks, the price has gone up by a total of US$15/ton, which shows the strongest price increase the steel market has seen since the start of 2025.
