Taiwan’s Tang Eng hikes 304 stainless steel prices for Dec

Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., one of the major stainless steel producers in Taiwan, announced its December stainless steel coil prices last Friday (November 28), raising its 304 hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils prices by NT$1,000 per ton. The company maintained the surcharge for its 316L products.

This adjustment is similar to the pricing strategy of Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco).

Across the domestic market, major stainless steel producers, including Yusco and Tang Eng for 304 coils, and Walsin Lihwa and Yieh Hsing for 304 wire rods, all implemented a hike of NT$1,000 for December.
