Canada keeps AD orders on hot-rolled carbon steel plates from 6 countries

18 Dec 2025 16:13 reported by Judy Lin

On December 17, 2025, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced that it will continue the anti-dumping (AD) duty order after the expiry review on imported hot-rolled carbon steel plates from Brazil, Denmark, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, and South Korea.

The CITT determined that allowing the order to expire would likely cause injury. Consequently, it decided to extend the order, and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will continue applying AD duties on the subject goods.
