On January 14, 2026, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced its preliminary results of an administrative review on welded stainless steel pressure pipe (WSSP) imports originating in Vietnam.

Covering the period from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, the investigation concluded that the Vietnam-wide entity sold these products below normal market value. Therefore, the USDOC assigned an estimated weighted-average dumping margin of 90.80%.

Besides, the USDOC plans to rescind the administrative review for five specific companies, namely Sonha International, Sonha SSP, Vinlong, Mejonson, and Vinasteel.

A final determination regarding these duties is expected within 120 days.
