Indonesia's Tata Metal Lestari to build new galvanizing production line

PT Tata Metal Lestari, an Indonesian steel manufacturer, is advancing the construction of its second continuous galvanizing production line with an annual capacity of 250,000 tons. 

Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said that the investment reinforces Indonesia's metal industry. He stressed that the steel sector is a strategic pillar for infrastructure, downstream growth, and industrial transformation.

Currently, PT Tata Metal Lestari’s existing production capacity includes a coating line with an annual output of 225,000 tons and a painting line with an annual capacity of 95,000 tons.
