Indonesia and the Philippines' nickel industry alliance impacts stainless steel industry chain

The world's two largest nickel mining producers, Indonesia and the Philippines, officially launched the IndoPhil Nickel Corridor on the 14th, which shows the deep cooperation between the two countries and has attracted widespread attention from the industry.

The combined nickel production of Indonesia and the Philippines accounts for three-quarters of the global supply. This "nickel alliance" has a significant impact on core industries such as stainless steel and new energy vehicle batteries.

The cooperation agreement aimed at clarifying that the sides will jointly promote the optimization of the nickel value chain. At the same time, it also means a strong combination to dominate the global supply chain.
