Nucor hikes HRC base prices for 6 consecutive weeks

Nucor Corporation, the largest steel producer in the US, has again increased its hot-rolled coil (HRC) spot consumer price (CSP) by US$10 per short ton, bringing the new quote to US$990 per short ton, the sixth consecutive weekly hike.

Besides, Nucor subsidiary California Steel Industries (CSI) raised its HRC base price by US$10 to US$1,040 per short ton.

Lead times for orders remain between 3 and 5 weeks, reflecting consistent demand and production capacity utilization.
