Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Baosteel) has updated its domestic sales prices for April 2026, implementing a general increase across most product categories.

According to the notice released on March 9, base prices for hot-rolled, cold-rolled, and plate products will rise by CNY 200 per ton.

A CNY 200 increase also applies to various coated steels, including hot-dip and electrogalvanized products, as well as seamless and welded pipes. Wire rods, bars, and non-oriented silicon steel are also subject to the same upward adjustment. Grain-oriented silicon steel is the only category with no price change.

These tax-exclusive rates are effective immediately, though surcharges for alloys and coatings are detailed separately in the April price list.
