Nucor increased HRC prices for eighth consecutive week

Nucor Corporation, the largest steel producer in the US, raised its hot-rolled coil (HRC) spot price by US$5 per short ton. This adjustment brought the new quote to US$1,010 per short ton, marking the eighth consecutive weekly price hike.

The company's subsidiary, California Steel Industries (CSI), also increased its HRC spot base price by US$5 to US$1,060 per short ton.

Despite these consistent upward adjustments, lead times for orders remain steady at three to five weeks.
