Fives secured a major contract to provide three Stein Digiflex® annealing furnaces for Yongfeng Group’s new facility in Linyi, Shandong. This equipment will support two continuous galvanizing lines and one continuous annealing line dedicated to high-grade products, such as automotive sheets and advanced high-strength steels.

The furnaces will be equipped with the AdvanTek® combustion system for energy efficiency and FlashCooling® rapid cooling system for precise cooling rate control using high hydrogen gas.

Stéphane Mehrain, Vice President of Steel Global Sales at Fives, said that these technologies satisfy the necessary metallurgical and galvanized surface quality requirements for the appliance and automotive markets. This partnership enables Yongfeng Group to expand its portfolio into high-end steel sectors through advanced process technologies and low-emission operations.
