The capacity utilization rate was 76.7%, down by 0.7 percentage points week on week and up by 0.2 percentage points year on year.

As of the week ending on March 14, 2026, the adjusted year-to-date production of US’ raw steel has amounted to 18.613 million net tons, rising by 4.9% compared to the prior-year level. The capacity utilization rate was 77.2%, up by 0.8 percentage points year on year.
