Taiwan’s Tang Eng announces higher stainless steel prices for April

Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., one of the major stainless steel producers in Taiwan, announced its April price adjustments today (March 31). The company raised prices for 304 series stainless steel by NT$4,000 per ton. Additionally, the surcharge for 316L products increased by NT$4,000 per ton.

This decision represented the fifth straight month of price growth for the firm. These 2026 adjustments reflected a broader trend in the stainless steel market as production costs continue to rise.
