Nucor hikes hot-rolled coil spot prices to $1,035/st

Nucor Corporation, the largest steel producer in the US, raised its consumer spot price (CSP) for hot-rolled coil (HRC) by US$10 per short ton on March 30, bringing the new rate to US$1,035 per short ton. The delivery lead time remained three to five weeks.

Nucor also updated pricing for California Steel Industries (CSI), its West Coast joint venture. Prices there rose by US$10 week-over-week to reach US$1,085 per short ton.
