Vietnamese steel company Vingal - Vnsteel Industries JSC announced that it has received Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) approval for a capacity expansion project in the Bien Hoa II Industrial Park.

The expansion project will increase overall production capacity from 40,000 tons to 60,000 tons per year to meet the continued growth in demand for galvanized steel in the construction, power transmission, and transportation infrastructure sectors.

Central to the expansion is a sharp increase in galvanizing capacity, growing from 15,000 tons to 45,000 tons per year. Meanwhile, production for safety shields, transmission towers, and power poles will hold steady at 6,000 tons, 6,000 tons, and 3,000 tons per year, respectively.

Utilizing nearly 4 hectares of land, the development is optimized for industrial-scale operations.
