Taiwan’s Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., announced on April 30th that its domestic sales prices for May would increase by NT$1,500/ton for galvanized steel and NT$2,000/ton for pre-painted steel.

Due to the continued rise in international energy and commodity prices, and persistently high shipping costs and steelmaking raw material costs, Yieh Phui's domestic sales prices have increased for five consecutive months, while its export prices have risen for four consecutive months.

Yeh Phui stated that the recent global economic situation has been significantly affected by geopolitical factors, energy prices, and inflationary pressures, leading to a marked increase in market uncertainty.
