Shandong Iron & Steel has successfully developed and trial-produced 216 single grouser track shoe steel for a leading construction machinery manufacturer. 

This type of steel is difficult to produce and is mainly used in heavy-duty equipment such as bulldozers, with only a few suppliers in China. Through close cooperation with the customer, the team optimized the production process, especially heat treatment and rolling parameters, and successfully solved key challenges in controlling dimensions such as grouser height, width, and thickness. 

The successful trial further strengthens Shandong Steel’s competitiveness in the high-end track shoe steel market. Once mass production begins, the product is expected to help customers reduce maintenance costs and improve equipment efficiency.
