Baosteel has achieved a major breakthrough with the global first launch and delivery of 1.5mm ultra-thin BW450 heat-treated wear-resistant steel. This product fills a gap in the industry and provides key material support for the lightweight development of construction machinery and dump trucks. 

Despite the extreme challenges, ultra-thin thickness, high hardness, strict shape control, and high surface quality, the team successfully completed the project through full-process optimization, from design and rolling to heat treatment and final cutting. This marks a significant advancement in high-end wear-resistant steel manufacturing.
