India's JSW Steel produced 2.11 million tons of crude steel in April, falling by 1% compared to the same month a year ago.

This decline was mainly due to the ongoing expansion of Blast Furnace No. 3 at the Vijayanagar plant, which is expected to restart in the four quarter of 2026.

In India, production fell 1% to 2.04 million tons. The company’s combined US operations totaled 78,000 tons in April, dropping by 7% from 84,000 tons from the same month a year ago.
