Morocco makes final AD ruling on galvanized wires from Turkey

On February 21, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Morocco announced its affirmative final ruling of the anti-dumping (AD) measure on galvanized wires originating in Turkey, deciding to impose AD duties of 21% on Aslanli Tel Sanayi and 61% on Güney Çelik and other Turkish producers and exporters.

The products involved are under HS codes 7217.20.10.0 and 7217.20.99.00.

The original AD investigation was launched on March 9, 2022, following a request from the companies SOMATREF, SICOTREM, GALVAFIL, and SODEFER, on behalf of galvanized wire producers in Morocco.
