South Africa makes preliminary determination of AD order on China’s coated flat-rolled products

The International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC), on behalf of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU), announced its preliminary determination of the anti-dumping (AD) case on certain plated or coated flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel originating in China, deciding to impose a six-month provisional AD duty at a rate of 35.9% on the subject goods, valid until September 16, 2023.

The products involved are flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel, of a width of 600 mm or more, clad, plated or coated, otherwise plated or coated with zinc, of a thickness of less than 0.45 mm, classified under HS code 7210.49.10.
