Egyptalum posts surged after-tax net profit for H1 FY23-24

Egypt Aluminum (Egyptalum), the largest aluminum producer in Egypt, reported that the company’s after-tax net profit was EGP 3.43 billion in the first half of the fiscal year 2023-24 ended December 31, 2023, surging by 101% compared to the same period a year ago.

Meanwhile, the company’s revenue rose by 60% year on year to EGP 13.38 billion, and the earnings per share (EPS) also increased to EGP 4.83 from EGP 2.40.

In the first quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24, Egyptalum’s revenues grew by 42% year on year to EGP 5.99 billion, with EPS hiking to EGP 2.29 from EGP 0.90.
