South Africa initiates AD investigation on China’s hexagon head screws and bolts

The International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC) initiated an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on imports of hexagon head screws and bolts originating in China, based on an application lodged by the South African Fasteners Manufacturers’ Association (SAFMA).

The products involved are other screws fully threaded with hexagon heads and other bolts with hexagon heads (excluding bolt ends, screw studs, and screw studding), classified under tariff subheadings 7318.15.39 and 7318.15.43.

The period of dumping investigation is from February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024, and the period of material injury investigation is from February 1, 2021 to January 31, 2024.
