Libyan Iron and Steel Company collaborates with Turkey's Partner Teknik for project

The Libyan Iron and Steel Company (Lisco), one of the largest steel companies in North Africa, has inked a contract with Turkey's Partner Teknik for its hexagonal cold rolling mill project.

The project aims to increase the company's production capability and the ability to produce cold-rolled coils and strips, with an expected annual production target is around 200,000 tons, with thicknesses from 0.2 mm to 3 mm, to fulfill local demand and provide a surplus for export.

The project is expected to be completed within seven months, with an extra four months for operational support and training.=
