Turkey’s Borçelik to establish Wind Power Plant in Çanakkale with 294 million TL

Turkish steel producer Borçelik Çelik Sanayii Ticaret A.Ş., in partnership with Borusan Holding and ArcelorMittal, will build Borcelik Wind Power Plant 7 (RES) in the village of Dedeler in Çanakkale province with an investment of approximately 294 million Turkish liras.

Within the scope of the project, the wind plant will install a turbine with a power of 7.2 MWm/7.2 MWe and produce around 24.6 million kWh of electricity annually, mainly supplying to Borçelik’s own facilities and being connected to the Seyit Onbaşı Transformer Center and transferred to the system.
