Turkey & Oman establish $500 million joint investment fund

Turkey and Oman signed ten agreements covering investment, trade, culture, and health, significantly strengthening bilateral relations.

Among them, the most eye-catching is the US$500 million joint venture established by the Turkish Armed Forces Assistance and Pension Fund (OYAK) and the Oman Investment Authority (OIA). The first investment will build the largest container port in Iskenderun under the name “Güney Koyteyner Port”.

The joint venture demonstrated the two countries' shared commitment to deepening economic and strategic cooperation and established a shared vision for strengthening the partnership.
