Colombia makes final AD ruling on China’s galvanized and galvalume steel products

On January 22, 2025, the Colombian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism (MCIT) announced its final determination of the anti-dumping (AD) measure on galvanized and galvalume steel products originating in China, deciding to impose AD duties based on the FOB value.

Among them, galvanized and galvalume smooth sheets with thicknesses equal to or less than 2.5 millimeters, under tariff subheadings 7210.49.00.00, 7210.61.00.00, 7210.69.00.00, 7225.92.00.90, and 7225.99.00.90, are subject to an ad valorem tax of 41.74%. Galvanized and galvalume corrugated sheets and coils under tariff subheadings 7210.41.00.00 and 7210.61.00.00 are subject to an ad valorem levy of 94.64%.

This measure enters into force from the date of its publication in the Official Journal, valid for a period of five years.
