A A A
The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has extended its export ban on ferrous metal scrap and ferrous metal ingots for remelting, under EAEU TN VED code 7204, for another six months, effective until September 18, 2025.

The restrictions were originally introduced in August 2024. The measures aim to prevent raw material shortages for local steelmakers. The government may consider further extensions if market conditions are still tight.
