On March 19, 2025, the Bureau of Technical Secretariat for Anti Injurious Practices In International Trade of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC-TSAIP) announced that it made a final determination to impose an anti-dumping (AD) duty on imports of aluminum alloy flat products from China with a duty rate from 7.1 to 20% on CIF terms.

The products involved are painted and/or coated, flattened or grained aluminum alloy plates, sheets, strips, or coils, of a thickness of 0.2 mm but not exceeding 8 mm, in the shape of rectangular or square.

The AD measure will be effective on April 25, 2025, for no more than five years.

The HS codes for the subject products are 76061210, 76061220, and 76061230. However, coated and polished aluminum alloy products for manufacturing, unpolished or uncoated aluminum alloys for beverage cans and lids, and heat-treatable aluminum alloy products and aluminum cans are all exempted from the AD measure.

The GCC launched an AD investigation on November 16, 2023.
