Peru imposes AD duties on China’s base metal standard table cutlery

On April 27, 2025, Peru announced its final determination of the anti-dumping (AD) measure on standard table cutlery (fork, spoon, teaspoon, and knife) made of base metal, with a thickness not exceeding 1.5 mm, originating in China, setting a minimum Free on Board (FOB) price of US$7.84/kg for the products involved. If the declared price of the products is lower than or equal to the minimum price, an AD duty of US$1.88/kg will be imposed. If the declared price is higher than the minimum price, no AD duty will be levied.

Besides, the provisional AD measure determined in Resolution No. 014-2025/CDB-INDECOPI will be cancelled.

The definitive AD measure will be valid for a period of five years. The products involved are classified under HS codes 8211.10.00.00, 8211.91.00.00, 8211.93.90.00, 8215.10.00.00, 8215.20.00.00, 8215.91.00.00, and 8215.99.00.00.
