Saudi Arabia imposes AD duties on stainless steel welded pipes from Taiwan, China

Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Foreign Trade has announced definitive anti-dumping (AD) duties on China and Taiwan's longitudinally welded circular cross-section pipes of stainless steel, with an outside diameter of 21.3-219.1mm and a thickness of 1.9-8.18mm. The decision follows an investigation initiated on May 2, 2024.

Chinese manufacturers face tariffs ranging from 6.5% to 24.6% of CIF value, with minimum rates between SAR 1.750-4.111/kg. Taiwan's Froch Enterprise Co., Ltd. received a 23.7% duty (minimum SAR 2.822/kg), while other Taiwanese exporters face 27.3% (minimum SAR 3.141/kg).

The measures cover products under customs codes 730611000002, 730611000001, 730640300000, 730640200000, 730640100000, 730621000002, 730621000001, 730650100000, 730650200000, and 730650300000. 

The investigation concluded these imports were harming domestic producers.
