US amends AD duty on Italy’s CTL plates

18 Sep 2025 14:22 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has amended its anti-dumping (AD) duty on certain carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate (CTL plate) from Italy. The change was made as the US Court of International Trade (CIT) on September 3, 2025, overturned the USDOC’s final results from an administrative review.

The court's decision prompted the USDOC to set a new dumping margin of zero percent for Officine Tecnosider s.r.l. (OTS), reversing the original 20.44% dumping margin that had been in place for the period from May 1, 2020, to April 30, 2021.
