Thailand proposes to impose AD duties on H-section steel from China

According to the final draft ruling released by Thailand’s Department of Foreign Trade, the country is considering imposing anti-dumping (AD) duties on hot-rolled H-section structural steel imports from China for a period of five years.

The proposed AD duty rates range from 30.86% to 54.19% of the CIF price. Specifically, Maanshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. would face a 30.86% duty, while Hebei Jinxi Section Steel Co., Ltd. and other Chinese producers and exporters would be subject to a 54.19% duty.

The products involved are under HS codes 7216.33.11.000, 7216.33.19.000, and 7216.33.90.000.
