Brazil extends AD duties on thick plates from 3 countries

Brazil has extended definitive anti-dumping (AD) measures for up to five years on imports of low-carbon and low-alloy flat-rolled products from China, South Korea, and Ukraine, effective on September 30.

The definitive AD duty rate is US$678.51/ton for China, US$135.84/ton for South Korea, and US$52.02/ton for Ukraine.

The products involved are low-carbon and low-alloy flat-rolled products from conventional or continuous casting, which may be processed through conventional or controlled rolling and heat treatment, with a thickness of 4.75mm or more and a width of 600mm or more, regardless of the length. These products are under tariff codes 7208.51.00, 7208.52.00, and 7308.90.10 of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM).
