Costamare Bulkers Holdings Limited and Cargill International S.A. have entered into a strategic partnership agreement. Costamare Bulkers will transfer its trading book (including chartered-in vessels, cargo transportation commitments, and derivatives positions) to Cargill and charter four Supramax vessels on short-term charters for periods of four to six months. This partnership optimizes resource allocation and lays the foundation for future business expansion. 

In addition, Costamare Bulkers has signed a fuel supply agreement with Seascale Energy, a joint venture between Cargill and Hafnia, to jointly promote carbon reduction and operational efficiency improvements for its vessels. 

Costamare Bulkers CEO Gregory Zikos stated that this move reduces the risk of market volatility, ensures stable revenue, and maintains its core operating model. 

President of Cargill Ocean Transportation, Jan Dieleman, also noted that the partnership will expand its fleet size and enhance customer service, achieving mutual growth for both parties.
