Mexico initiates AD investigation on China’s steel screws or threaded bolts

On October 2, 2025, Mexico's Ministry of Economy (SE) announced the initiation of an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on steel screws or threaded bolts originating in China, following an application from domestic producers, Clavos Nacionales México, S.A. de C.V. and Clavos Nacionales C.N., S.A. de C.V.

The period of investigation is from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024, and the period for injury analysis covers January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2024.

The products involved are under tariff codes 7318.15.04 and 7318.15.99 of the TIGIE.
