EU levies 54.7%-72.3% AD duties on China’s screws without heads

29 Oct 2025 15:07 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
On October 23, 2025, the European Commission imposed definitive anti-dumping (AD) duties on screws without heads, namely threaded rods, anchor bolts, and U-bolts, imported from China.

The AD duties range from 54.7% to 72.3%, implemented following an investigation that determined unfair trade practices were occurring.

The measure is designed to restore fair competitive conditions in the EUR 500 million EU market for these components, which are applied in industries such as automotive, construction, and renewable energy.
