According to Mexico's Secretary of Economy, Marcelo Ebrard, his country and the US have made approximately 90% progress in negotiations on the tariffs imposed by the US.

There is only a short time left to reach the 90-day deadline for both countries to negotiate the 30% tariffs on Mexican products. Ebrard indicated that the remaining 10% relates to the steel and aluminum issue. He has already presented various proposals and is now awaiting a response from the US.

The Secretary of Economy expressed confidence that the tariff negotiations can be concluded before the revision of the Mexico-United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
