Peru terminates provisional AD duty on China’s wire rods

According to the announcement from the Commission on Dumping, Subsidies and Elimination of Non-Tariff Trade Barriers of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI), Peru has terminated the provisional anti-dumping (AD) duty on imported wire rod originating in China, effective on November 10, 2025.

The provisional US$64.6/ton AD duty had been in effect since July 9, 2025, with a four-month validity.

Peru initially launched the AD investigation on the subject goods in January 2025.

The products involved are non-alloy, low and high carbon steel wire rods, with a circular section and smooth surface, and with a diameter ranging from 5.5 mm to 16 mm, under HS codes 7213.20.00.00, 7213.91.10.00, 7213.91.90.00, and 7213.99.00.00.
