13 Nov 2025 16:15 reported by Alston Tsai

A A A
Recently, the Canadian Steel Producers Association (CSPA) expressed its support for federal government investment in national construction projects, focusing primarily on large-scale transportation infrastructure and other fundamental projects, and calling for priority to be given to domestically produced steel.

At the same time, CSPA urged the government to work with allies to combat unfair import price competition. In addition, CSPA mentioned that this investment deal is announcing a new policy that will boost the medium- to long-term development opportunities of the local steel industry.

These initiatives will provide crucial support for the future development of Canada's steel industry and help enhance its competitiveness.
