Mexico ends AD duties on I and H steel beams from Spain's AMOB

Mexico's Ministry of Economy (SE) has issued a final determination in the anti-dumping (AD) review concerning I and H steel beams originating in the Spanish company ArcelorMittal Olaberria-Bergara (AMOB).

The final review ruling was negative; consequently, Mexico will not levy AD duties on the subject goods imported from AMOB, as the imports in question did not meet the conditions for price discrimination throughout the review period from January 1 to December 31, 2023. This ruling took effect the day after its publication. The action cancels the definitive AD duty of US$0.0613/kg previously applied to AMOB since February 2023.

The original investigation began in 2021 against I and H steel beams from Germany, Spain, and the UK.

The subject products are under the tariff codes 7216.32.99 and 7216.33.01 of the TIGIE.
