UCC Environmental (UCC), a US provider of engineered environmental solutions, announced the acquisition of Trimay Wear Plate Ltd., a Canadian specialist in advanced wear overlay technologies.

This strategic purchase enhances UCC's capability to deliver high-performance solutions for high-wear industrial applications, such as air pollution control and solids handling. By integrating Trimay’s expertise in wear overlays, hard facing, and alloy cladding, UCC aims to increase equipment reliability and extend service life for its heavy industrial customers.

UCC President Kevin McDonough said the integration will create greater customer value by combining Trimay's technology with UCC’s application knowledge. Trimay’s Director of Sales & Technology Doug Fraser added that the shared commitment to technical excellence will benefit customers who require advanced wear protection.
