EMSTEEL Group, the largest steel and building materials manufacturer in the UAE, announced an AED 135 million agreement with Primetals Technologies to upgrade its Abu Dhabi steel factory. The deal aims to modernize the plant, allowing the company to produce stronger, higher-quality steel products.

CEO Eng. Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi said that the investment supports the UAE’s focus on clean, competitive industry, noting the nation’s rapidly expanding construction sector and an expected 7% growth in local steel demand.

The company also inked partnerships with Bekaert to develop low-carbon steel wire and with the Suez Canal Investment Company (SCCI) to supply sheet piles for big Egyptian construction projects. This expansion strengthens EMSTEEL’s global reputation for responsible steelmaking.
